The program is a flexible one, where you can choose the periods to come, based on the

Arrival at the airport or railway station, private transfer to the booked
hotel in the centre of the city. The hotel is set in the centre of Genoa. Its high comfort and its
preferential position will make your stay unforgettable.
Sightseeing with guide around the city on foot (in the historical centre, the biggest and oldest
in Europe, the Roman-Gothic cathedral, Colombo’s house, Palazzo Ducale, Piazza Bianchi). This
itinerary covers the pedestrian area that is now completely renewed. Free time in the Aquarium’s
area (lunch on personal arrangement). Visit of the Aquarium, optional excursion by boat around
the port.
Typical dinner near the Aquarium, based on the light ligurian cuisine (fish and vegetables and
ravioli) in a restaurant on the roof, with panoramic view of the ancient Port. |

Free time at disposal for visiting the exhibitions, planned for Genova 2004.
We suggest as a basic program the visit of the restored Ancient Palaces called Rolli, mostly of
them along the Garibaldi street. In this street are reopened the most important museums.
Surely it is worth to go to Dogi Palace where is hold the Rubens Exhibition and the
Transatlantic exhibition in the Ancient Port area.
Dinner is planned in a typical sea restaurant in the most fascinating quarter of Genoa:
Boccadasse. This is an old fisher village, with the small houses painted in vivid colors,
romantically built on the shore of a small port. (Transfer not included) |

museums of contemporary art (Villa Croce), the museums of modern art in Nervi, inside a

Possible extension to 5 Terre, for people remaining one night more:
3rd day Departure for Cinque Terre by train. Stop at Riomaggiore and sightseeing of the town,
the most important of the whole area, often painted in famous paintings. From Riomaggiore it is
possible to go to Manarola on foot (those who want can get to Manarola through the famous path
known as “Via dell’Amore” which is only 2 km long).; from Manarola, which was built on a rock at
only 70m from the sea, it is possible to go by ferry to Vernazza, famous for its typical cuisine
and wine. In Vernazza it is built the most beautiful medieval church of the area, on the small
port, a few step from the water. Cinque terre wine is famous due to the incredible condition,
where vineyards are set, the taste of the wine is a mixture of sea and mountain flavor.. After
visit departure for Monterosso by train. Lunch in a typical restaurant with a typical Ligurian
menu’ and visit of the town, the most touristic in the Cinque Terre, where at the beginning of
the century a statue 14m high, called “Gigante” (“Giant”), was built. Tasting of local white
vines in one of the many wine shops of the area. The guide will be with the clients during the
